SURGE
The Great Kiwi R&B Group Surge Are Up There With The Best !
"Then Again" will never win Cover Design Awards but the look deceives for this is a mix of uptempo and slow burning R&B and furthermore, the guys wrote it all themselves. Julian Dixon, the main vocalist, is the dominant force here and is as good at delivery as writing. Mike Jansen, bass and acoustic guitarist also writes and sings on this excellent album which fellow bluesman Rick Bryant gave top marks to in his Metro Magazine Review.
