CHRIS ADAMS
Chris Adams is the first non New Zealand resident to be signed by Tree Records which was an local Label from 1969 till mid 2007 when it went Global and Digital via CD Baby
in America who supply the Digital Files used by iTunes and all the other Music Download Sites around the world.
Tree has released a total of 3 Albums in just 2 months, 2 re-Issues and the new title shown above. Now a UK Tour is planned.
Chris has been recording and performing 'live' since 1999 with the aim of carving out an instrumental rock career for himself. It did not take long for him to start writing his own material and today he is recognised as a highly accomplished composer/performer of both rock and classical material.
By 2002, Chris Adams had joined forces with John and Geoff Whitbread, described by Chris as "two brothers with phonomenal talent." John's vocal technique and Geoff's drumming skills meshed marvelously with Chris' guitar playing. These musicians, perfectly in sync with each other, lead to a move to the more tradional song-based format.
Chris Admas is still writing a mix of instrumentals and songs and has additional singers he can call on for recording sessions and 'live' concerts.

Tree Records have signed up with The Orchard for a 5 year exclusive Distribution Contract and their Australian Office, AmpHead, will be the new command post for Tree Records' Digital music for PC's, iPods, mp3 Players and Cellphones around the World. AmpHead take care of marketing of the Tree Label Globally as from April 20, 2009.
